The Rain is Here
The month is flying and it will be Thanksgiving. I don't know where the time goes anymore. I just know that I don't like daylight savings. I just wish that they would change it a half hour and leave it a lone all year.
It started raining late this afternoon. We never got very warm. The last temperature that I heard we were at 51 degrees, It was very damp and cold. We aren't suppose to get down to freezing, but it is that time of the year when we can have snow.
Today we honor our veteran's and my son had a floating holiday which he took today. He and his dad ran around today. A lot of the business were giving the veterans a free meal to show our appreciation. I was glad for them. We had our parade.
I thought I would show a few more that I have got done this week. My teddy bears are a nice size that you could use as a hand towel in the kitchen or bathroom.
I am anxiously waiting for my poinsettia to get back from being framed. I think it will really be neat that is for sure.
We have been so busy at work which is great, but it really keeps us moving to keep up with it all. We got another house to supply the lumber that we didn't know we were going to get. They said that it was the service they liked and we give them free delivery. If you work with people it is all about the service that you give them. They will come back if they like it.
I will list the tea towels on etsy or if you would like one and not go through etsy just let me know.
I have started making my list for the boys. I know what I am going to do for my girls. Something that they both will like, as they read what I write, I will keep it a secret at the time being.
I hope you all are having a great week. Take care.

Hi Sweet Friend,
We haven't gotten any snow....but it was warm enough today that the mailman was in shorts delivering the mail....I think he was pushing it a bit. Right now, in the evening, it is 55 degrees. I am just soaking it up while I can.
Your bear towels are soooooo sweet, but that little kitty takes the prize. It is so vintage looking and you do such a beautiful job!
It always makes me happy to know our veterans are honored. What would we be without them....
I hope you and yours are well!

Hi Shirley,
So enjoyed my visit here tonight and your lovely blog. Sounds like your weather is gearing up for winter. We started out coor this morning but it quickly warmed up to the 60's and was gorgeous!
Love your bear tea towels. you do such wonderful work and are so talented.
Sounds like you have your gift ideas ready too. That is always a good feeling as we approach the holidays.
It is wonderful that your son and hubby spent time together and honored with a free meal. Please give him my thanks for his service to our country in keeping us free.
He is to be honored.
I bet your poinsettia will be gorgeous framed.
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend and great week ahead.
Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment. Great to see you. I am swamped in the studio these days. Tis the season!!
