Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching. My daughter-in-law has the turkey in the refrigerator thawing. Our family will all be together at our son and daughter-in-law's house. She is doing the cooking and she is a very good cook.
Our craft show is over with one left to go. I had a wonderful time with my grandson. He was so excited and it was fun watching him sell his wooden puzzles. He sold enough to pay for his cell phone card plus. Grandma sold some but the show was different then what it was the previous year. The vendors were so different and some things weren't really what you call crafts.
They say you are to be handmade and I would sure like to know how some qualify when they say on the bottom made in China.
We have one left to do the Friday after Thanksgiving. It is from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. in the evening. I just hope that it isn't like the past when you froze because of it being so cold. We have had such crazy weather temperature wise, but we have been lucky to not have the snow, ice, and bad weather.
Happy Thanksgiving to each and everyone of you. I hope you have a wonderful day and get to spend it how you want to do it. I know we always eat way more then we should. Our excuse is that it is the holidays and they only come once a year.
It is a time to stop and think about all the things that we are thankful for. We have been blessed this year so far with no trips to the hospital for that we are very thankful. We have been able to spend time with our family more this year then the last. Enjoying the time spent with our grandsons. They always are teaching us something new and they never let you forget what you told them.
It is getting late and tomorrow is another work day. Have a great week.

Hello, my Missouri friend! It sounds like you have been busy. I am looking forward to some of the craft shows at our schools and churches, but I do hope it is handmade and not commercial.

Our weather has been up and down with the temperatures...now it is 29 degrees. Brrrr...

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving. You have so many blessings this year!

XO,
Jane

Hi Shirley! I can't beleive it's Thanksgiving already!! As you can see I haven't been able to post lately, nor been able to type. Our phone lines at home have been out and they just found the trouble outside yesterday..back in the woods on the lines...seems a Squirrel decided to play with it and moisture got in. I have been sick with my allergies...get home by 6p in bed by 8p and out like a light till 6a..this has gotta stop.
Mom and Daddy have been sick with everything they have to contend with so we've been tryin to help more. Jim had an infection, but is better thank goodness. My Craft Show last Sat. was good and I'm trying to get ready for the one this Sat. The Flower shop is busy with Thanks. deliveries and pick ups. When I get home tonight I'm puttin on a pot of green beens, ham, and potatoes to take to Jim's Sisters for Thanks. night and for Mom and Dad to have...we're goin out to eat with them in the afternoon so they'll have a little something to have later. I can't beleive we get to sleep in tomorrow!!! I usually cook, but this year with all the sick they decided to go out. I was a little disappointed...I like to cook, but with my allergies I'm a little happy. Well, I better close for now I gotta open the shop. You all have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hi Shirley,
So nice to see you and so glad you are planning a wonderful day being with your family.
I know your grandsons are a blessing to you and so glad you will enjoy time with them.

We had temps in the 80's the last 2 days but predicted to be very cold and wintry on Thanksgiving. I will be glad for the colder temps. It will put us in the Christmas spirit. I have been trying to decorate the last 2 days also.

Thank you for stopping by and your kind words. Good Luck in my giveaway.
Love to you and Happy Thanksgiving.
Celestina Marie
p.s. thank you for the ECS message too!
