This will give you an idea of of my latest quilt that I just finished. I am happy the way it turned out if I could only take better pictures. It was fun seeing each square come alive.
We have had a quiet evening tonight instead of doing the usual running. I just wasn't feeling quite up to par. Our son went to meet his sister and her family at the South side festival which started today. It isn't really wheelchair friendly if you get off the sidewalk. They will have a parade in the morning. It will continue through Sunday.
I don't know what my weekend will bring, whether it will be quiet or just what. If the weather is nice, we may just go with nowhere really in mind. Those are the best kind of things to do for sure.
We will be making a trip down to see the heart doctor next Friday. It is hubby's annual checkup. We have been very lucky in that respect.
It was really busy today at work. We were short handed and it turned off to be a really nice day. We started in the 50's and warmed up to 80, but it didn't seem that bad. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I need to go decide what my next project is going to be. Probably tea towels or I have a Lightin McQueen pillowcase to do or I should say two of those for part of two little boys Christmas present.

WOW Shirley, What a beautiful quilt. Love the design and colors.
Sorry I haven't been by as much as I'd like too. I can't get online to comment during work usually, and I've been getting ready for that Craft Show I mention in todays post, and Jim has been taking Chrysler tests online, so by the time he gets off I'm too pooped to see straight.
I sure hope this show turns out reeeeally good..I need it. I have to find a way to showcase my things more. I know if people saw them they'd buy. sigh.
Well, I gotta go. Gotta do the Church basket for masses.
I'll type ya soon...thanks for being my bloggy friend;)
That quilt is gorgeous. I can't imagine how hard that must be to do. I'm doing the mini yoyo quilt and it's taking me forever!! You have quite the patience, my friend!! It is very beautiful. Congratulations!

Shirley, my friend...That is one gorgeous quilt! I love the colors you chose, and the sampler effect. It's fabulous!
I'm home again. We drove straight from Williamsburg yesterday, and due to a 2 hour delay for construction south of Savannah, didn't get home until 4:30 this morning. Needless to say, it's been a lazy day around Brynwood!
Hope you have a restful and creative weekend.
xoxo
Hugs from Florida,
