Where Has the month Gone

I really don't know where this month has gone, but we only have two days left. We took a drive on Sunday. There was some color starting, but it is just a wee bit early I think.
We have been having cool mornings where you need a light jacket or sweater in the morning and the afternoons warm up to where you can go without.
I love the fall of the year and it is my favorite time of the year to travel. I don't think we will get to take a trip, but just some short drives. We went to see the sunflower fields a couple of weeks ago, but it was a disappointment. The flowers were drooped down so there was no fields of bright yellow color that we have seen in the past. I don't know if the weather had something to do with it or if we were to early when we took our drive. We enjoy those trips of just getting into the car with no destination in mind. We just pick a direction, but the weather hasn't cooperated here lately with the rains and storms. When we do go our kids are always asking how many states did we see today.
They say that we are suppose to have a great weekend so I will have to wait and see what it brings. I have come to the conclusion that I don't make any plans, but just decide on the spur of the moment. It is always so much more fun that way.
I must close. You all have a great day.

Hi Shirley, love that image of all the fall color, I'm like you, a fall drive with no particular destination is just a wonderful way to spend a weekend. I'm sure looking for it soon, it's been a horrible hot summer and I'm so glad for the cooler weather!!
hugs and blessings,
Debra

Just popped in to say 'HI'! I'm still getting over the 2 day craft show. It seems to take a little longer each show to get back to normal and organized. My next show is Nov 20th at the High School. They have over 200 vendors...hope it's as good as last year!!
Didn't you have Drs appointments? How'd it go? Weekend rides are the best.
I better get back to work. Have a great rest of the week!
