I just want to take a few minutes to wish all of my friends in blog land a Happy Valentine Day. Things have been upside down in my life at the moment and we don't know what the next course of action is going to be. We moved from the hospital to a nursing home yesterday. They are going to do some physical therapy to help make him stronger. We just don't know what is going to be done about the blood clot with where it is located. We don't know where it came from nor how long it has been there.
I am going to go to work tomorrow for a change of scenery. He went to the nursing home to give me some much needed ME time. I don't know what I want to do with the Valentine Tea towels I got done, but didn't get listed in time for Valentines. Anybody got any suggestions?? I made some Hearts and Flower Napkins while I was at the hospital. I did one in one night. I didn't think at first I would like them, but they turned out rather nice. I just need to get my pictures taken.
I will be going each evening to the nursing home for a few days after I get off work. I don't know how long he will have to stay there. It could be a couple of weeks or longer. We just have to wait and see. I will be visiting you all when I have the time . Take care and have a good week.

Sure hope all goes well at the nursing home. They will be able to care for him 24/7. You need a break, being the caregiver is a hard job.
As for the Valentines items, who knows...I had things made too that didn't get listed due the current upheaval in my life.
Sending more prayers and lit a candle for him too.

Shirley, glad things are getting a little better....I love that took my poem, hopefully it helps lift hubby's spirits. You need a break from care giving, it's hard and he needs to be looked after all the time...those darn blood clots are scary!
You could still list your towels, sometimes people are happy to get love designs, even after the holiday.....I know I shop year round for hand made things to give the following year!
Take care Sweetie, keep us posted if you can!
Hugs and prayers!

Dear Shirley,
I haven't read many posts for the past 2 weeks...I am so sorry to read about your DH. You will be included in my prayers.
Take care!
Hugs, Sharon
Shirley, just tuck those Valentine items away for next year. You will pull them out next January and realize you are already ahead of the game! Work great for me!
I flew down to see my girls for a few days so I am just now reading about your husband. I hope he will get better soon and please take care of yourself so you don't get run down.
Sending Valentine Love and Prayers,
LuLu~*xoxo
My dear sweet Shirley, I am so sorry, you must be very stressed. I think it's better for your hubby to be in a nursing home where he get's constant care and it can hopefully give you some peace of mind when you have to go to work.
I hope that something can be done soon for him. I will be keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers.
Cyber hugs, Lynn
PS just keep your valentine tea towels for next year, at least you will be ahead of everything.
Hi sweets. Wish I could be there to give you a hug and just hang out and stitch with you.
Know I'm thinking of you.
xx, shell
