Booth Update

We are down to 89 degrees since the severe weather went through to the south of us. It was over a hundred when I came home from work and I really didn't want to kn0w about the heat index.
I thought I would show you three different pictures of my booth in the antique mall. It is coming along. I haven't been there since Saturday when I added a few more things to it. I have a friend that has added the baskets to my booth along with the Japanese lanterns.
It is progressing and looking better. I have been working of an evening trying to get some more things ready to go in. I am still undecided about my etsy shop. I don't know if I will have time to do it, my booth, work full time, and be a primary care giver to my hubby. I really think something needs to go for a little while.
The way the weather has turned off we can be very thankful that the birthday party was on Saturday evening because the last few days hasn't cooperated.
Our local schools start Monday the 16Th, but my older two grandsons don't start until the 26Th. They have their open house coming up to where they get to take their school supplies and meet their teacher.

We aren't alone in this crazy weather. They are already saying the winter isn't going to be good.
We have a exhibition to go to later this month. Jake's riding instructor puts on a program for parent and grandparents to show us how their riding has improved and what they have accomplished this summer. He and daddy have been looking for him a bigger horse.

I hope that you all are staying as cool as possible right now. Have a great rest of the week.

Hi Shirley! Oh your booth is looking wonderful. Love the shelf border around the top and the display peices are perfect. The potholders are too cute and that tablecloth? in purple and yellow is pretty. Are those lamps on the floor? or, the Japanese Lanterns?they look interesting.
I reaalllyyy wish we live closer. I'd love to pop in;)
It stormed yesterday afternoon, but no relief :( It's going to feel like 105 by Noon..it was 75 at 6a and felt like 90...this isn't unsual for Ohio the last Summer like this was 07', but the last 3 Summers were so cool we didn't turn on the air, but for a few days..and that was cause it went to 90 and Shadow doesn't do well in heat. The humidity wasn't around last Summer either.
I don't know how you do all you do either..you're busier than me...
I just have to take care of

Hi Shirley!!! Your booth looks great, you've done so much so quickly, good for you!!! I am so excited for you, keep us posted on how it goes....I wish you tons of success!!!
My granddaughter takes riding lessons too, she's missed a few cause they just couldn't afford it but the lady that teaches her, just loves Bella and she misses her when she doesn't come......I will have to start chipping in a bit, maybe I could pay her for helping me at my store when she visits. I am still off work but I am feeling a lot better!!!
Hugs,
Margaret B

Your booth is coming along beautifully!

I tried having the booth, the Etsy shop and working full time last Fall, and it was just too much for me. If you can handle it all, go for it. It all comes down to knowing just how much you can take on your plate.

Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Anne
