My booth Update

All of the booth's in the antique mall have been rented now. It took one week after they opened to finished the job. I thought I would show what it looks like at this moment. It is still a work in progress and I have been doing some more, but my other half is taking some of my time that I would love to have for me.
Today my allergies have been given me fits to the point of having an ear ache. If I take the medicine, then all I want to do is sleep, so I will wait until bedtime.
I am having a lazy afternoon to do what I want for a change. I have did a little this and that. I have a load of laundry in at the moment.
We will probably go see our waitress that we like for a late afternoon lunch. She is off to college and her classes start Monday. I will probably need to allow myself a little more time with all schools now being in session.
We went to our grandson's exhibition to see how his riding lessons had to progress. His horse Charlie did not want to cooperate even to the point of trying to buck him off. You have to give him credit because he did stay on got him under control and even straighten his hat. I really thought he was going off.
Matt, my kindergartner told me all about the bus and what he had for his hot lunch. He had to catch me up on the latest and his bus gets home before brothers which he thought was great.

The two pictures of my kitty cat tea towels, that I thought were really cute. I had fun making them I know that for sure. I don't think I am going to do a border as they have a Perle edge on them. I have to decide if I am going to list them on etsy or if I am going to put them in my booth.
Etsy has changed the looks our shop, plus added sales tax to it. The question is who's sales tax are they wanting you to collect. I am needing to talk to my tax person about it.
Have you noticed how many more taxes they want to charge you? They think taxes are the answer to everything, but if they would stop giving the money away and live within their means they might be surprising what they can do.

I love your tea towels and think your booth is just perfect. If I were there, it would certainly catch my eye and draw me in. I hope you are feeling better, Char

Hi Shirley, Your booth looks great! You charge your county sales tax. Ours is 6.5 for Hamilton County Ohio...we've always had to charge sales tax.

Sorry, I'm back....Paypal should figure it up for you if you plug in the percentage. Hope your allergies get better. Mine goes to my throat. I know what you mean about taxes. Our Property taxes have gone up $200. I can't even think of Fed.
Those kitten teatowels are cute. I'd put it on both. If sell it in the booth, just take orders for the towel off Etsy.
Well I better be goin. We just got back from takin Mom and Dad with us to eat. Got laundry to do too.
Have a good week!

Your work is lovely Shirley!!! As a veteren of craft/antique malls.....may I suggest you put the large bookcase kiddie corner and the other large piece kiddie corner opposite...people look straight ahead and you need to catch their eye as they walk by, know what I mean? Good luck to you, what an exciting adventure....cleo

Boy I agree with you about the taxes and the spending! When you sell online you are supposed to collect sales tax if you sell an item to someone in your own state. At least that is always how it was before. I love the littel kitten embroidered towels. Your space is looking good! Stay safe in that bad weather knicking at your door!
