The weekend is officially here and I was so ready for two days off. It actually cooled down a little today with a little rain, just enough be a nuisance. Tomorrow will be a little busy, but it is something for me. I am having a mammogram done in the morning that I have been putting off because it wouldn't fit the schedule. I found out that they are open now on every other Saturday, plus you don't have to have an appointment.
You all are probably wondering about the birthday greetings. This next month the 19th I will be celebrating a big birthday and wanted you all to share it with me. I am going to have a surprise giveaway to celebrate it. I know part of it will be some of my handy work and I be posting more about that in the next few days.
This is one of my blue birds tea towel that I finished. Depending on the design determines how long it takes me to do it.
My pillowcases are done, ready to laundry, and take the pictures. I will let you tell me what you think. I have several to take pictures of and hope to get it done over the weekend. I had put my baby quilt aside while I was working on wedding presents. I got it back out and want to get it finished next. The picture is not mine, but hopefully mine will look just as good as the one I found in Herschner's catalogue.
I am so excited, they are quilting my quilt that I embroidered. It is getting closer to a reality. They called to see if I wanted to make any last minute changes. I have given the quilter free range . I trust them to do a good job. I really like their quilt shop. It is small, but they are so helpful and the fabrics are really special.
Well I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, Stay cool.

Your give a way is a very generous and lovely gift. Of course I would love to win a peice of your work, who wouldn't, you do such beautiful hand work.
When you say the big one, I am not so sure which one that is. I thought the big one for me would be 50, but when I hit 60, that seemed mighty big too. Gesh, what's a girl to do?
