FRUSTRATION

Doctor appointments,  I call today to find out when they schedule my hubby's upper GI. Well they hadn't really and five phone calls later we are suppose to have one the 16th of March. If they get an opening before then, they will call me. I am not holding my breath. I think part of the problem is he is a very high risk with his bleeding disorder.  I told them if I had a problem I would just take him to the hospital. They will have to deal with it sooner then, but my boss was wanting to know when I was going to be gone again.
We went to our son's yesterday late afternoon to see them. Grandma needed her grandma fix with the boys. My oldest wears the same length jean as his grandpa. The only difference is the waist size. He is growing and eats constantly. I asked him if he had a couple of hollow legs. It was such a pretty day that they were riding their horses.
Matt showed me all of his paper airplanes that they had made. They had a book with actual instructions for different ones. Some were really neat. His mom told me to please not buy him anymore Lego's. He showed me how many he had. I can understand what his mom meant.  He doesn't know it, but he is being honored at a breakfast on Wednesday for the same Character word as his cousin. Honesty . He is doing a reading program where they are raising money for school. They can win prizes and if their room comes in with the most reading miles they win a pizza party and I don't know what else. I gave him a donation which put his name in the hat for a chance to win a Kindl.
We didn't stay late because they go to bed at 8 on School nights.
There is so many changes going on here in blog land. I was trying  to do some changes and ending up causing myself more headaches.  I don't like the two word verification because they are hard to read. I know I have cataracts on my eyes, but they supposedly aren't ready for surgery yet.  Some of the blogs that I visit have leave a comment with a link. Why do they go changing when you get use to a certain way. I guess that is just my age creeping in.
Enough rambling, I hope you all have a great week. Take care

I understand what you mean when you say the 2 words are often hard to read.. I often go to view on my header and click on zoom and make the print bigger and then go back.. It sure helps me see the letters better. Give it a try... Hope your husband get an appointment before the middle of March.

Warm hugs Elaine

I took that word verification off. It's way too annoying. Of course now I have to deal with the spam comments. You can't win! I'm glad you had a beautiful day with the boys. It probably lifts your spirits. Wishing you good things.
hugs and prayers

Hi Shirley:
I removed word verification a while ago. I just set my comments to be approved if they're over 10 days old. The spammers like to go back like that to get in under the radar. grrr!

The new spam feature on Blogger usually catches them before their post appears, which is really good. I just don't think it's worth the aggravation of my readers to have it.

Hope your husband gets better. Congratulations to your grandson.

I took verification off because it was such a problem for my blogging friends. It can all be annoying, but I am so grateful to blogger for this wonderful "blogland" that we can all connect with. Hope things work out for your husband's appointments.

I can't read half of the word verification either. I just leave my comment moderation on without the word verification. That way I don't have to make people do it and can still moderate my comments. I hate getting all those SPAM links though.

Hope your husband can get in quicker for his test!

Love,
LuLu~*xoxo

That recently (the testing) happened to me. They had never even made the call.
The two word verification is hard to read. Sometimes it is very blurry. But, I have found so far that you don't have to get the words right and it still works....for me so far.....I still really don't like it.
I noticed the format on my comments changed yesterday. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will still be on Google in a couple of days.
Grandchildren do give you a boost for sure. You are a good grandma.
I am surprised they are making your husband wait so long. Like you said going to the ER you would get faster service. They have to have spots for emergencies. Sure think he would qualify.

Hi, Shirley, my friend,
I know what you mean about getting that "grandma fix". Congratulations to your grandson on his award for honesty. Thank you for coming by for a visit at Bunny Cottage. I always love it when you do. Enjoy the rest of your week! Vicki
