It's Friday

This was  the sky that greeted me the other morning as I walked out the door to go to work. The sun was starting to show some color. Our weather had been in the 60's this week  until today which was a cold rainy day. We had rain all day and they are predicting some more tonight with the possibility of some snow mixed in. I remember a year ago and we were snowed in with a lot of snow. We couldn't even get out of our drive way and I heard about it. The kids didn't think I needed to have my driveway cleared. Well I wanted the comfort to know that I could get my car out if I needed to, but I was thankful that it wasn't necessary. This is a picture of the two who does most of the cooking at our family get together. My daughter-in-law is in the flowered top and my daughter in the pink with her Christmas hat. They both like to cook and can do a good job of it.  The picture was taken Christmas at our daughters.
The next three show you some more of my tea towels that I have been working on. I am listing these in my etsy shop  for sale.
The top two were some new patterns I found while surfing  and I really liked them. They were different then most of them that you see. Of course, I always enlarge them to the size I think will look good.
I have put them on Dunroven towels with different color stripe borders. I never know what I will work on next that is for sure. I have one called tea time that I have been working on tonight for a change from hearts. Then it will be back to them because I was reminded Valentine's Day is only 10 days away.

Have you ever read some body's blog that you would like to contact them, but there isn't a spot to e-mail them nor leave a comment?  Where do you look? I might try reading their profile, I didn't have time to do that before I had to leave for work.
She talked about a new way of transferring patterns that I wanted to know more about.
I am so proud of myself. I put my new accounting program and anti virus protection programs on my computer all by myself and they work. I didn't lose any of my accounting. Now  I just have to get use to it. Can anyone tell me why they have to change things just a bit? Well you all have a great weekend.

Love the red work on your tea towels. I hope you do not get the snow and ice we had. That was a disaster. We are still cutting up trees that came down on the property. All my beautiful Japanese maples were damaged. I shall hope for good weather for you!

The tea towels are sweet! Your daughter and daughter in law look like sisters! Maybe it's just that particular picture. My anti virus expires today! I have to find another one. This one slowed things down. Fun! NOT!!
Thank you for leaving such sweet words on my blog. I appreciate you so much!
hugs

Hi, Shirley!! I LOVE the tea towels...you are really talented! The bright red looks fantastic against the white! Great job!

We don't have snow or rain and it's 40 degrees. We were in downtown Chicago yesterday and it was quite pleasant walking around.

I hope you are having a great weekend!

Shirley,

Thanks for stopping in and taking a loo at our blog, we love the farm life and the critters are a big part of what makes it so magical. You're very talented and the tea towels are fantastic!! reminds me of an era that is too far by-gone. It's great to see that there are still some of us out there that appreciate the simple beauty in a small towel that is given such personality and love. Thanks for the warm welcome!! We'll be following along also.
