Yoga on Horseback taken by MA Donaldson
Have you ever wondered what yoga on horseback looks like. My youngest grandson was caught stretching while he was sitting in the saddle. I asked him if he was tired, he said no he just needed to stretch.
I don't see how they can ride the number of hours that they do at times.
Hot, I know it isn't really summer, but it sure feels like it and suppose to be worse tomorrow. I just wish that it would rain. They say the crops really need it. I know you see farmers baling pastures besides just the hay fields. Last year the floods and this year they are thinking it will be the driest ever.
Are you ready for the weekend? If we do everything, that is planned it will be busy. We have our grandsons birthday party on Saturday. They are showing their horses on Sunday, but whether we go or not will depend on the weather. I don't want to make us sick because we set in the heat to long. We went to the doctor last Friday, no broken bones just have osteoporosis . They can't really do anything about it. Bengay seems to help a little, but he says it sure does stink. I agree.
You all have a wonderful day.

Well, it sounds like you certainly keep busy, Shirley. I am sorry that osteoporosis has set in. You are right-there is no "cure" for that.

I started watering out front today because I noticed it is already starting to brown out. Many years at this time of year our grass has not even had its first mowing yet and this year it is hot and dry.

Hope you have a great night and can get a good night's rest. xo Diana

Yoga on a horse. I would definitely fall off!! lol!

No rain this summer? That means I will have a big water bill if I use the hose. Bah! I can't remember the last time it rained. I just got most of my garden planted, too.

Glad there are no broken bones and I agree...Bengay stinks!

Big hugs!

XO,
Jane

Hi Shirley,
I've always wanted to learn how to ride...Your grandson is so little but he sure does look like he can handle that horse :-) Wishing you get cooler weather and rain soon.

Hugs and Kisses,
♥Ana

I wish I could send you some rain. I have been thinking about umbrellas over my plants. They are so waterlogged and sad looking. The river below our home is just raging and so high. We actually had snow on the mtn. tops yesterday. I so want summer to come.
Yoga on horse back oh my goodness. I'd fall off for sure.
Trying to send rain your way!!!!!

I didn't grow up around horses and I am as scared of them as a snake. :)

We, too, need rain in the worst way. We have had a few nice showers lately but....not nearly enuf. I AM, however, thankful for what we have received.

calcium 1000mg-1200mg and vitamin D is important daily. My doctor ordered an IV of Reclast for next Wednesday. Research this, then talk to your doctor again. Bengay doesn't sound much of a remedy for porous bones. The Reclast is given once yearly. I'll let you know how I begin to feel in time. I hear of good results from others.
