The imagine is compliments of Debbi over at All in My Cottage. I love roses and I thought that this was so pretty. The weather has really been great for the airshow sunny, windy, and not to hot. I came home with a sun and wind burn so my face is a little red and I have a perfect V from my shirt.
The Blue Angels were awesome and if they come to your area take the time to watch. They fly those planes so close together. Handicap parking was on base so it was really nice. The flying that we saw was really neat and how it didn't make them sick after all of the dives, rolls, flying backwards you just name it.
Of course, there was a lot of other planes to see that was used many years ago and still fly today. You could take a ride if you wanted to pay $400.00 . If I wanted to spend that kind of money, I would want to be going someplace on vacation I think.
Friday was a miserable drive to the city for a doctor appointment. I thought I would be on the back side of rush hour traffic, but that was sure wrong. I think everybody had the same idea. Of course, it was raining hard making it hard to see where you were going. It is a state law that you are suppose to use your headlights if you are using your windshield wipers. Wouldn't you know that people don't do that. I was glad to get down and back and the appointment went well with no changes in the insulin dosages. We just keep plugging away and take every day we get. I went to work in the afternoon and got to see some of the planes doing a rehearsal for Saturday and Sunday's show. I saw the Blue Angels in their diamond formation and them getting in line for the last fly over.
Have a wonderful week. The next post will be of a giveaway that I won. I just need to finish my pictures. I hope to do it soon.

Hi Shirley:
I adore watching the Blue Angels (and the Thunderbirds). We head to the local airshow nearly every year since we've been in FL. It's a truly awesome experience.
Hope all is well with your doctor's appointment. Have a great week, my friend!

Hi Sweet Shirley~
It's horrid here right now...hot and humid so I am hibernating until it cools off.
I have never seen the Blue Angels but would love to. My Daddy was a pilot and would take my sister and I up in his plane and roll, flip, all that stuff and we would be squealing with delight!
Wishing you a lovely day,
LuLu♥
Hey Shirley,
Glad you had a nice weekend for the airshow. It was rainy here. I'm typing you from the hospital. Dad's doing ok, but not well enough to go home. He just isn't breathing right. Mom's staying at night. Oops better go one of the Drs just came in.
Hi Shirley,
I've seen the Blue Angels several times. Aren't they awesome!
Shirley, that's exactly how I got into miniatures. I bought the dollhouse I never had as a child and from there it became an obsession, LOL
Thank you for stopping by!

The Blue Angels are spectacular!! as are the Thunderbirds. When we lived on base we would go to all their shows.
Glad the Dr appt went well.
Have a great week!

Hey Shirley, We got in at 12A. Dad just can't breath. They say it's pneunumonia or a new med he's on. Either way I wish they'd get it over...Mom is with him. She now has a bed not a chair to sleep in. I spent the whole day with em....
guess it'll be the same.
Well, I better get goin...
