HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

I wanted to take this time to wish all of you a Happy Mother's Day. I know there may be some of you who have lost their mother or a child and my heart goes out to you at this special time. I lost my mother several years ago .
My babysitting the boys was so much fun. Did you know Ol Mac Donald's Farm has monkeys on it. My youngest grandson has all kinds of animals on the farm and both of the boys was singing for grandma.
I have never had both boys in the car at the same time , they were to busy talking and singing that they didn't have time to give me any back seat directions. Matt was telling Ethan about his new Pony. Of course, when we got to Matt's house we had to go see the pony.
Matt's mommy got home right as the storm started last night. Some areas in town had hail damage, but we were lucky in that respect. One of the guys at work has a new car only about two weeks old with hail damage. I know the lightening was close to the house and I shut the computer down and went to bed. We are suppose to be down in the 30's tonight so I turned on the heat.
You won't be seeing the quilt that I was working on for a while. The little one that I was making it for pass away this week. We were hoping for miracles, but the baby came three months early and weighed less then 2 pounds. I will maybe work on it again in the future, but I just don't feel like it at the present time.
Have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Mother's Day.

Hi Shirley:
Happy Mother's Day, my friend. It sounds like you had a great time with your grandkids. How fun to listen to them as they interact!

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's baby. I can completely understand that you have no heart for finishing the quilt. I'll say a prayer for their family.

Stay safe during all those spring storms and have a great Mother's Day. Thanks for stopping by to visit Brynwood. I always enjoy reading your thoughts.

xoxo
Hugs from Florida...
