Easter Week

Are you getting ready for Easter? I finished the boys Easter up today. I did not buy candy because they will get enough with out grandma buying it.
Yesterday  part of the day was spent watching our 6 year old grandson play soccer. They are so much fun to watch. The score this week was 1 to 1. There record so far is 2 wins and 1 tie. They are really having fun.
It had a been a big week for him because he can now ride his pony in the round pen all by himself without anybody holding on to his pony. He was excited with that accomplishment.
They had been riding every evening about with weather permitting taking time for soccer practce.
Our oldest grandson is going to take riding lessons again this summer. I don't know which horse he will be showing, but we will go watch because it is fun. You can see the progress from the previous year.
Our youngest has decided that he is going to take swimming lessons so that he can swim in his Uncle's swimming pool. He told his daddy that he needed one in his back yard. He helped his dad work on their house. They thought it would be done by next weekend, but it is going to take a little longer then they thought.
We will spend Easter with our family which is all that I really want is everybody there. The younger two will have to have their Easter Egg hunt. The oldest thinks that he is getting to old for that. He told me that he would like a new pair of shorts to sleep in if I hadn't got anything for him. I bought him a pair of bright red ones that are a silky feel like you see all the kids wearing. I don't like the ones that look like they are going to lose them.
Well I need to get back to work on a special order for a Wedding gift. Have a great week and Happy Easter.

Sounds like you are going to have a fun Easter with those grandsons! Good idea for not getting them candy since they will get enough at home!

Have a fantastic week my friend!

Happy Easter to you too Shirley!
We don't have special plans and I won't be cooking anything fancy as our oven is kaput. But it will be nice to putter around and do some things in the yard.
Glad to hear your grandson is doing well with his soccer - he's lucky to have you go and watch!

Shirley I have been wondering how you are honey. I thought about you when all the storms were going through reaking such havoc all over the place.
Sounds like you have the prefect Easter planned. I am like you just to have everyone together is a blessing. My plans are still in limbo because of the DL not answering yet but thats okay. With my pain I don't let things bother me like they use too.
Hope you entered my chocolate giveaway while you were visiting today. Always happy when I see my Missouri friends been by for a visit
Happy Easter
Love
Maggie
