Where Has the Year gone

Can anyone tell me where the year has gone? It seems as though a month just gets started and it is gone in a blink of an eye.
We had a heat wave today and got up to 46 degrees which was good in comparison to what we had been having.
I have spent a long day in the city today with my hubby getting an iron infusion. He had a little color in his cheeks once more. We will go back in a little over a month and find out how much it helped. I realize how lucky I have been when I see those taking chemo. Especially when they are very young. I felt sorry for one because she couldn't get her treatment today something to do with her blood count not being right. I don't understand that, but I am learning.
We had a good holiday weekend with the family. We got to do everything that we had planned for which I am very thankful. We got to see my husband's aunt who will be a 100 years old this coming May. I hope she makes it to that mile stone. John's family is getting smaller where my family is growing.
I think about all of my friends who have all of the snow like we did last year. We had enough for a white Christmas, but the roads were o.k. Reading some of the blogs has brought back so many wonderful memories, such as snow ice cream, building snowmen, coasting. building snow forts, having snow ball fights.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and if you celebrate New Year's Eve , please use good judgement and be safe. We will spend a quiet evening at home. We will know when it is midnight because our neighbor has his fireworks already to go. Have a wonderful rest of the week and it will soon be 2011.

I'm so glad you dropped by my site again.. I so enjoyed your blog and indeed it is good to reflect on so many good past memories.. My late husband had cancer so i understnad what some of these famlies and young people are going through. I have relatives in the Boston area and they say they can't believe the amount of snow although my brother-in-law and wife ski so they took advantage of it... Happy new year.. take care.

Hi Shirley,'You're not ever kidding when you wonder where the year has gone!

46 DOES sound like a heat wave, we've been freezing down here in Texas, too.

Happy New Year, my friend!
Hugs,
Anne
