4th of July

The 4th of July has already started in our neighborhood with the fireworks.  I wonder how long they will continue to shoot them off. I wouldn't really want to stay outside in the heat and it is still really humid. We got to over a 100 degrees today and it really took your breath away.  I tried to stay hydrated because I didn't want to be sick. I just get headaches from going in and out of a/c.
We will have a quiet day tomorrow as possible and go to the doctors on Thursday. I haven't worked very much this week nor last.  I am working on an order right now so that will keep me busy. I need to get it done so I can get it in the mail.
The family will be together Saturday excepting for our oldest who is working in Louisiana. His hours vary as to what time his day starts. Today it was at 3 A.M. getting off or suppose to get off around noon. At least it would be the coolest part of the day. We will call him as we always do and let everyone talk with him so he knows that he is thought of even though he couldn't be there.
We shut down early today. The guys said that it was to hot to work any longer.  I have so much to get done and being off doesn't help that is for sure.
Have you ever put something right where you know where it is at and then can't find it? That is me or else I have to much on my mind right now. I was just thankful that I had something to keep my hands busy. I can't just sit around and do nothing. I just don't like sleeping in a straight back  chair. Technically I wasn't suppose to get to stay in his room anyway because of him having a roommate, but they let me. Have you ever heard of waking a person up to give them a pain pill? We finally got moved to a private room which I was thankful for.
I didn't realize it was so late so I better call it a night. Have a safe 4th of July.

Shirley- is your husband back in the hospital again? Oh no---- and I think it is ludicrous to wake someone to give them a pain pill- that's just wrong!

It's HOT here too--- 100 almost every day followed by wicked thunderstorms--

It's been warm and muggy here (UK) but nowhere near as hot as where you are. I wouldn't be able to do anything in that heat.
I hope your husband feels better soon x

Hi honey
Yes I have seen this happen too often waking someone for a pain pill. Give me a break.
Sorry you are having to be in the hospital so much here lately.
Please take care of yourself I know that you can get run down yourself and get sick so try and rest when you can.
The heat is just too hard on all of us right now and it came so early this year.
Hope things this weekend are better for you
Love ya
Maggie

Shirley, sorry about your hubby back in the hospital, hope things turn around but fast for him. Yes, things get hectic sometimes and I have been through the same thing putting things down and then can't find them, think they call it age, what do you think? Hee, Hee! No, I think it's cause we have so much on our minds with our husbands. Things not too bad here, one day at a time. Prayers are with you and your hubby. Hugs...Lu

Still praying for you both. I hope things are getting better. It was hot here too. The 4th was terrific with a gorgeous fireworks show just steps from my door. I can't believe it's already all done.
hugs

Still keeping you all in my prayers Shirley!

It was 110 here yesterday. HORRIBLE! We don't have central air....just a little window unit in our den and it's having a hard time keeping up with this heat!

Stay cool my sweet friend!

Love,
LuLu~*xoxo
