PRAYERS PLEASE

I just got home from the VA  hospital visiting our son. He had a bad asthma attack and what they gave him for that has sent his blood sugar off the chart. They are keeping him to monitor what they are doing for the chemical asthma. I really wonder if they are using him as a guinea pig to see if the medication will work or not.
You all know mom's worry about their children regardless of the age.
I just need the strength to keep me going to take care of him and my other half besides trying to work. I told my other half what I expected from him at the moment and needless to say he wasn't a happy camper. He did walk this evening while we were at the hospital instead of using the wheelchair and expecting me to push him. I didn't know if he was going to make it or not, but he did.
We have the soccer game in the morning and Matt will be a tired little camper. He has T-ball practice right before the soccer game. One nice thing about it both are at the same sports complex.
We have several things we could go to this weekend. They are having a barbecue contest in conjunction with the Apple Blossom Parade tomorrow. They are, also having an ice skating show.
Well I want to say Happy Mother"s Day to all of you. I don't know what my day will bring as it is a different kind of a weekend than I thought. Well I need to call it a day. I will catch up with you all when I have a little more  time
.

Oh, Shirley, I am so sorry to learn of your son's being ill. Prayers lifting for all of you to walk thru this with healing of the heart & body. When the children are sick, a Mother never stops worrying, when they are well she continues to worry

I hope today will bring you much love, sweetie ... know you are in our hearts & prayers.

TY, I so love the roses & treasure my gardens. My Cecile Brunner blossomed today ... just looking towards the heavens for G'ma Maggie & Mother, I know.

Hugs ~

Shirly,
Keeping you in my thoughts and hope your son is doing better. Sounds scary. Enjoy that warm, sunny weather you're having. It's turned cool and cloudy here in TN--"blackberry winter???" Thanks for entering my Give Away!
Best,
Susan
