ALMOST FRIDAY

I thought the tulips with rain drops were appropriate this evening as we have had rain the last two days and even some snow thrown in. We were fortunate enough that the snow melted as fast as it fell because we were in the 40's. The rivers are out of their banks because of all the snow melting and the rain on top of it.
We would like it to freeze so that we can get into a job site. They don't have any gravel on the lane that they say is the road yet. It was hard enough when you could get in because it is really narrow and trees on both side of the lane. You definitely can't meet another car and to be honest you wouldn't even know there is a new house being built there because it isn't visible from any roads. They wanted privacy and that is definitely what they have. got.

This is another of my tea towels ready to go into my etsy shop. I have been burning some late night oil as the saying goes to finish up some things that I have laid aside. I have a lot of stress lately and I needed to try to unwind so I would sleep when I go to bed and not lay there and toss and turn.
It must be getting close to a new moon with some of the people we have dealt with here lately. I had one tell me on the phone that I was going to listen to him because he was trying to sell us the yellow pages for the Internet at work. I told him we weren't interested, but he kept insisting and I told him I wasn't listening to him and hung up.
We may have the boys for a while after I get through with Saturday morning errands. I just hope the sun comes out, but it doesn't sound as though that is going to happen.
The plane is one that was parked at our airport here lately. We saw it while we were eating breakfast. Some of our airguard are flying relief missions to Chili at the present time. They help with the relief missions in Haiti. At least they aren't in harms way. Although we have them all over and you never know exactly where they are. You all have a wonderful weekend.

Ther towel is too cute. We get those calls at work too. I've figured a way to cut em short. I ask if it pertains to flowers they had ordered or want to order. They stammer and usually hang up or they say it's a business call...I say All business inquiries must be done in writing, thru the mail..they hang up on me. Hope that helps.
Hope your weekends a good one.

Wonderful tea towel.. I love all your creations.. Rain heat too Shirley, but we are not that far apart. I love my front porch too on the house, it was my favorite part of the house. After the storm hit and took down all the trees it was to hot in the evenings to sit out there, but still lovely to look at. have a great weekend. Sheila

I have always loved your tea towels. Each one is perfect. Your tulips are gorgeous. We don't grow them here, at least I don't think so. It doesn't get cold enough in the winter for the bulbs to do well. Poor Chile is haveing a very rough time right now. They just had three more quakes the other day, up north. I feel badly for them all. Happy Pink Saturday sweetie, Char

Hi Shirley! That's such a sweet little kitty on your tea towel! Just adorable stitching! ... I hope your stress level goes down and you're able to get some good sleep. I find stitching helps though, don't you? Have a fun Sunday, Sweetie, and thanks so much for your visit! xo's Paulette
