Heat Wave is coming.

After having snow yesterday, we got to 43 degrees so the snow started melting. We are to get back in the 40's tomorrow and 65 degrees on Tuesday. I just wish it would stay in the 60's I could live with that.
They were talking that Easter Sunday is the starting of the tornado season. I am not ready for that one, but I know it will come quicker then we want.
I am waiting for a phone call from my daughter to let me know that they made it home o.k. from Rogers, Arkansas. I know the weather was worse the further south and east you went from us. I am gradually picking up new friends here on my blog and etsy and I just want you to know that I appreciate everyone of you very much. I keep finding new blogs to read through you and for that I want to say a big Thank You.
It is another way of relaxing from the stress in my life. I caused my son to have a small asthma attack. I got a haircut yesterday and my hairdresser used hair spray. We wanted it to hold because of the weather. I should have told him no I can't do that, but I just didn't think because it was snowing and I just wanted to get to the store and get home. I will get it worked out. He didn't tell me because he didn't want to upset me. I told him that he wouldn't have upset me.
He helped me carry in the groceries, clean the snow off my car, and I just like his help around the house for a while. I just have to get use to cooking for three again.
I hope you all have a good week. Take Care.

Sorry about the snow. It missed us. We may have storms later tonight and in the morning. I'm with you..not ready for tornado time. Glad your Son is home. sounds like you all are gonna like the arrangment. You'll get used to the breathing stuff. I spent the last part of the day cooking a roast, pot of green beans and ham, and some hamburgers for lunches and dinners next week. Worked a little on reorganizing my sewing stuff....I'm pooped.
Talk to ya later!

Shirley it will be full fledged spring before we know it. I noticed more upper 60's and low 70's in the forcast.. The lows are creeping up as well. When we have more lows in the 50's i will start to plant my garden. I can not wait to get some fresh veggies going. not to speak of the flowers i want to plant. MY delima with the flowers though is that we may move in june. I don't want to set plants in the ground and then have to move off and leave them here until they go dormant and i can transplant them in the fall. I may get them and just leave them in the pots.. Have a great day my friend.. Hope the ashma attack did not get to bad for Your son.

Hello Shirley! We had snow here in Kansas too...what a way to welcome spring! If it's not all gone here today then it will be by the end of tomorrow. We actually got to work in the yard today so that was nice. I'm sorry to hear about your son's asthma attack...at least you know not to wear hairspray next time...but who'd have thought! Oh dear..I'm not ready for tornado season...I'm a coward when it comes to bad storms especially at night when my husband is at work. I guess it's time to make sure my weather alert radio is working right. I hope you have a wonderful day (Tuesday)...take care. Maura
