A SUN SHINY SUNDAY

I found this cute little image when I visited my friend Mimi. I thought that he was so cute.

Today we had sunshine and we have made it up to 54 degrees and it is about 8:30 in the evening. The month is almost gone and I hope this next month is better weather wise. We could stand the sunshine and the warmer weather for a few days.

We went looking for a restaurant yesterday in the rain, we finally found where we thought it was only to find out later that she had moved so we will have to try again. She use to have one here and you never went away hungry. It was good home style cooking.

It was not fun shopping in the rain, but I parked as close to the stores as I could so that we didn't get to wet. Of course, you can't worry about getting dirty because I always get that when I am lifting the wheelchair in and out of the car.

That is why I wear blue jeans a lot.

My grandson Ethan is referring to Easter as his Easter Party because of celebrating his Uncle's birthday. He told him that he would be at his house at 8:00 , but I don't think he really knows the time that well.
I though I would share the picture of Kevin and Angie's bike that won first place at the bike show. My daughter rides this bike. It depends on the bike ride whether she rides her bike or rides as a passenger. I know that she was really proud of how he painted it. I am going to try to get a better picture of it.
My daughter-in-law was making her a dress for the Pony Express Sesquicentennial. She is volunteering for it and they want them to be in costume. She went to Liberty, Missouri to a shop that specializes in those kind of patterns to find her dress. Activities are being held during Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I don't know if we will go down or not because it is not that wheelchair friendly.
Have a wonderful week.

Hi Shirley,
Oh I am so glad that you were able to use the little vintage bunny image. He looks so sweet on your blog :) We had another day of rain too and one more is on the way for tomorrow-- but than 80 degree weather (can you believe it) That sure is one amazing bike. I am a little afraid of motorcycles but if I were to ride one I sure would want it to look that that :) Take care and have a wonderful week.
xoxo

your little bunny is so cute, shirley!! i'm glad your weather is warming up a bit.....and now that spring has officially arrived, i think we're all in for some rain so the flowers will start popping up out of the ground! i hope not too much, though, so your daughter can ride that cool motorcycle!!! enjoy your week! :))

Hi, Shirley,
I hope you all are continuing to get some sunshine. Your children's motorcycles are very good looking. Have a beautiful Easter week, my friend! Vicki

Hmmm, I posted a comment but don't see it so I'll try again.

You need to find the photo of Sweet Pea in the bowl full of eggs in order to be entered in the drawing.

The eggs are clues. You need to find all the eggs to find out where Sweet Pea is.

I LOVE that bunny! it was so nice to be greeted by him! I was just in the mood to pop around & came by from Marilyn's blog I commented right under you & couldn't resist :)

I always think it is pretty cool when girls drive their own bikes! Me...I used to ride with my hubby but since we have kids now...I am just too scared :) Maybe someday again...I never had enough guts to drive though. Awesome that they won! That is a HUGE deal! It looks pretty cool to me too! Good night!
