Lovely Snow Again!!!!

Do we really want snow again? What happen to Spring and the warmer weather? Did it get lost somewhere? I don't know about you, but I am getting a little tired of the snow and cold. I want to see sunshine and some warmer weather for a while, but according to the weatherman we aren't going to get it for awhile.
Our daughter is improving each day from her surgery and hubby's ammonia level is finally starting to come down. We still don't know why it kept going up. We actually talked with one of the doctors who comes to the nursing home Friday.
I stayed home the last two days and took care of some things that I needed to do for a change. I went to nursing home on Friday to take care of a few issues.
I didn't go up today and I was going to embroidery, but that didn't get me very far because I took a nap instead. They all tell me I must have needed it or I wouldn't have done it. I saw my cousin and her husband that I hadn't seen for quite awhile at breakfast. Even though the time was short it was  wonderful to see them. Her husband has retired and they bought a camper and going to travel. Their first trip will be to North Dakota. Her sister and son are going to Italy this next month and I am looking forward to their sharing their trips with me.
My package came today that I ordered. I looking forward to getting  the tea towels embroidered so I can show them to you. I hope you are staying warm. The weather isn't really very good anyplace because they just said the southern states are having severe weather. We will just pray that everyone stays safe. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend.

So sweet of you to worry about others and be happy for other people with so much on your plate. It just shows how wonderful you really are. A snow storm on its way here as well. I think it is getting to the point that it is almost funny that winter is never ending. Not really but you know what I mean. Glad you got a nap in and then your visit. Stay warm and we can only hope this is it for the storms.

Shirley - We are cold here but thank goodness, no snow. I read where they were thinking about filing charges against Phil - the groundhog for misleading all of us.

Stay warm and safe.

I am glad you stayed home and took a nap. I'd say you certainly deserved one. There is snow coming here, too, in the next couple of days-not sure how much. Glad hubby and daughter are both improving. That is wonderful news. Hope you stay warm and safe yourself- xo Diana

You certainly have had your share of bad weather, Shirley. I give up on spring. No snow here but it's been cold.

I'm glad your daughter and hubby are doing better, and how nice to have spent some time with your cousin! I'm looking forward to seeing your pretty towels but you need to keep catching up on your sleep if that's what your body is telling you.

Stay warm, dry and safe if that snow comes your way again!

XO,
Jane

Good for you, sleeping a little.
I am glad we are at least getting above freezing every day here lately.

Shirley-- they are saying snow for us too-- ugh!

I'm glad you are resting a little-- you DO need it. It's also good to here that your daughter and husband are making improvements--

Shirley, The snow you had we will get. It snowed this morning about 2-3 inches...stopped and I cleaned the porch and driveway. Just so I would not have to worry about it being ice inder this new snow coming our way. It was a work out for me anyways. You know Shirley if you do not take naps...but fall asleep, you are right, you must have needed it. I only nap if I am sick. I am ready for spring too. :):) Stay safe.xoxo,Susie

Stopping by from Susie's. We had a sunny day in New York, but snow predicted for tomorrow. Keeping thoughts of spring in my mind!

I am soooo wanting spring to badly! Time to get out of here, go do some thrifting, garage sales, rummaging, and all of that fun stuff! We got very very light snow here. Didn't really cover the ground, but winds with it a bit. By end of the week we should finally be hitting 50...about darn time too!

Have a wonderful week Shirley!

Sounds like a nap was what your body needed, good for you to have the chance. We woke up to lots of snow again today, so disappointing. I think it's time to find a replacement for Phil the groundhog!
